At diagnosis you will be given the relevant nurse details and contact information at diagnosis. If you attend one of the peripheral clinics, you can also phone Edna or Isla when your diabetes nurse is unavailable or on holiday.

The Ward staff will ask you a series of questions and the doctor will then call you back. If they have not returned your call within 30 minutes please call again. You should also contact the Medical Ward at the Children's Hospital if you require urgent advice and the nurses are not available.
