Lyndsay Sinclair

One of the dietitians based in the hospital, Lyndsay spends part of her time each week with the diabetes team, in a post funded by the Managed Clinical Network for Diabetes. Never one to keep an opinion to herself, she brightens up the office with her cheery smile and infectious laugh. But if there’s trouble afoot, it’s usually Lyndsay at the centre of it!
Lyndsay has implemented several initiatives since she joined us in February 2007. She has been running a diabetes dietetic clinic once a week to help children learn how to count carbohydrate amounts. She also has taken on some of the educational responsibilities from Alison to allow her to spend time setting up Glasgow’s Insulin Pump Programme.
