Christine Gallacher

Dr Gallacher stepped into the breech when Dr Robertson succumbed to Sir Isaac Newton’s Law of Gravity and tumbled swiftly off the summit of one of Scotland’s mighty peaks whilst mountaineering. Soon after, she was appointed as a Paediatric Consultant and devotes her time between Diabetes and General Medicine. She is an enormous asset to the team bringing with her diverse knowledge, love of hands on medicine and abundant social skills.
She actively forges links with the Diabetes Managed Clinical Network and currently is endeavoring to improve adolescent care across the Health Board and is actively instituting an insulin pump service within Yorkhill.
Her extensive extra curricular talents include haute couture, a discerning coffee tasters palate and manicure skills that a professional beautician would be proud of.
