Anne Morrice

Anne is a well established team member who joined the diabetes service in 2000. Her contribution as an experienced paediatric dietitian is extensive and she manages to achieve a huge amount in the 2 days a week that she works in Yorkhill. Anne is not only known as the friendly, helpful dietitian who offers dietetic advice at the out-patient clinics but is also involved in new and established patient education and support. Anne enjoys working with the children with diabetes and their families on a one to one basis and also is extremely commited to the Basal Bolus Group Teaching Session. Her dedication to education has been highlighted with recent involvement in the production of the 3rd. edition of the 'Food for Life- Best Ideas' diet book.
 Many of you who have visited the clinic will have purchased items for sale in the clinic shop. Anne is entirely responsible for running the enterprise and all the proceeds raised go to the Yorkhill Diabetes Fund. This enables the team to purchase items  that contribute to patient care that are not available on the hospital budget. In addition to the shop Anne is constantly looking for ways to generate income to help children with diabetes.
Anne also wanted it to be known that she is a whiz at IT.
